My kitchen
Tick what's in your fridge, pantry and freezer. Scan barcodes or type to add. Dates are optional and help the app use things up in time.
In your kitchen
Dinners you can make
Ranked by what you have, what needs using soon, and what's missing. Swaps count as having it. Calories and costs are rough estimates.
Invent a recipe from exactly what I have
Uses only the things in your kitchen, puts use-soon items first, and leaves out your allergies.
Plan the week
Let the planner pick seven dinners, or drag your own onto a day. It uses up what's ageing, shares ingredients between meals and keeps weeknights quick.

Shopping list
Grouped by aisle. Tick things off in the shop and they move into your kitchen. If you share a household, ticked items disappear for everyone.

Where your kitchen lives
On this device
Your kitchen, list, week plan, recipes and stats are saved in this browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them. There's no account and nothing to sign up for.
If you share a household
Sharing is off until you turn it on. When you do, your data is locked with a key that only lives in the invite link, then sent to the sync service. The service stores scrambled data it can't read.
Barcodes
When you look up a barcode, only the barcode number goes to Open Food Facts, a free public food database, to get the product name and a small photo of the pack. If your browser can't read barcodes by itself, the scanner first loads a free barcode reader from jsDelivr, a public code host.
AI help
Only when you press an AI button: your ingredient names, allergy and diet choices, and any photo or recipe text you chose are sent to the AI service to write an answer. When AI help is off, nothing is sent.
The page's fonts come from Google Fonts, so Google can see that this page was opened (your IP address and browser), as with any site that uses them. Nothing you tick, type or plan is sent to Google. There are no ads, trackers or analytics.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Open the page and start ticking. Everything saves on your device. You can add it to your home screen from your browser's menu, and it opens even without a connection once it has loaded once.
How does it choose recipes?
Each recipe gets points for every ingredient you have, extra points for using things marked "use soon" or close to their date, and loses points for anything missing. Close-enough swaps, like chicken breast for thighs, count as having it. "Make now" means nothing is missing.
Can I trust the allergy filter?
It leaves out recipes with ingredients linked to the allergies you tick, and asks AI to avoid them too. It can't see inside packaged foods, so always check labels. For allergy information, see the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy at allergy.org.au.
What does "halal-friendly" mean here?
It's a simple filter that leaves out pork and alcohol. It can't tell whether meat is halal certified, so check with your butcher or the packaging.
How accurate are the dates, prices and nutrition?
They're estimates. Dates are rough guides for each type of food, the date on the pack always wins. Prices are example Australian supermarket prices you can edit. Nutrition comes from typical values per 100 g and is a guide only.
How does household sharing work?
Tap the household button at the top, then "Share with my household". Send the link or show the QR code to people you live with. Everyone with the link sees the same kitchen, list and week plan, and changes show up within a few seconds.
Why is AI help off?
The site owner can switch AI help on or off. Everything still works without it: the built-in recipes, the recipe builder, barcode lookups, the planner and the recipe reader all run in your browser.
